when you see stats like that in black and white it really does make me shake my head in disbelief.
l knew our support was top class but to have maintained those levels having been served up such a pile of poop, the laughing stock moments (Kinnear) selling off any players with talent, the cup and european phobia that seems to have developed and the lame tired old bullshit excuses week in and week out, its nothing short of a miracle.
However, have to say that l am begining to really think that until our home games are played in front of one man and his dog, nothing will change and it has to change. Do the fans have the ability to make a change ? yes, l feel they do, but only if they Unite and come out in force and numbers.
Dont give up on your club and team they advise, okay l can see that, but what happens when your club and team seems to have given up on us. We are the lifeblood of NUFC, those stats prove that. if Pardew remains for next season it will tell me all l need to know, and l wont spend a penny piece again until he is gone and the club shows its lifeblood the respect it ought to.

If fans keep on turning up in numbers, we will retain 3rd highest average gate as SJP still has the third highest capacity.

 

It just shows the bond that the supporters have with the club. I suspect though that should Pardew remain we may see a different stat next season.

I suppose the thing to remember is that Alan Pardew and Mike Ashley are just two bit part players in the history of the club. They will both be gone one day, but the fans will still be there.
