Interviews, press releases, media involvement all praising the players and putting positive spin on things are all very well, but Dave Jones managed without them. I reckon he should start managing the club rather than just talking it up in the media. What's he trying to do, win Team of the Year next year? Perhaps he should go the whole hog and change his nationality and go for the Welsh Sports Personality as well. These Jocks will do anything for a bit of praise - that bloke Ferguson has being trying without success for years, only very few exceptions like Strachan have proved themselves. The man needs to get real before the Malaysians start to believe him.

You're right Sparkey. He needs to start thinking about the playing side and stop thinking about off field activities. I mean, what's all this mobile growing lights all about. Trying to improve the playing surface, pah. With all those long balls he's playing, why does he need grass? I bet he's just in cahoots with Aber, or is Pandy looking for a refill? He needs to stop talking to the media and start talking to players and their agents. How are we going to get by on 11 new signings. He needs to get off his arse and get out there. What does he do all day, he's got a head of recruitment, first team coach, an assistant manager, head or performance, performance analyst, opposition analyst, plenty of time for for golf I suppose.
