An Idiot Abroad

I can't get VirginMedia in Aberdeen because the phone lines are too ancient. I wanted to get it a couple of years back but they said the bandwidth was too ****.

Sky is a ****ing rip-off, £75 a month for something I only get to use for half the year. **** knows why I still get the Movie channels because they are pish. It's only really worth it for Sky Sports and even then the SPL is relgated to SS4 or ESPN at some obscure timeslot.

 

I pay £82 a month for Sky and thats without the phone and broadband getting beyond a joke now.The movies are pish i cant rememeber the last time a watched a film on it.The Sports is all i have it for TBH.The HD is the bizz.

 

It's ****ing shocking really. I have to admit that getting the SPL in HD was a major reason I stayed with Sky and never went back to BT Vision myself. Plus I like watching La Liga as it's a change from the SPL/EPL game of headers and bad tackles.

 

La Liga is the bizz.Watching Barca and Real in HD what could be better ? well apart from St Mirren v Accies in glorious HD

I watched that Trevor McDonald programme the other night about the Med that was brilliant in HD.

The best thing about Scottish Fitba in HD is the sound quality. Hearing one St Mirren fan shout clear as day "Craig Burley, clueless **** that you are" makes football worthwhile again. Or hearing the Hearts goalie screaming "Get up the ****in' pitch" at the Falkirk stadium because the place was so empty

 

Some of the shouts at Scottish games are brilliant.I remember one years ago some guy was geein it plenty and they had to move the microphone at half time.

 

The parochial stuff in our game makes it more enjoyable than the over-marketed and pre-packaged monotony of the English game. You never hear stuff like that during a Premiership game.

Jambos on 606 are the easiest targets of all. I managed to get a thread with 350 posts on it just by saying I earned more money than most Jambos. I'd normally never resort to that kind of wummery but Hearts fans are ****ing idiots.

At the McNamara testimonial I had a fat bint hissing "Judas" in my ear every time Liam Miller touched the ball. Eventually I turned round and said "Give it a ****ing rest, we're no standing on a Golgotha here, we're at Celtic Park"....went right over her ****ing stupid head

It's beyond belief. Some people need to seperate football from the important things and take a grip on reality again.

 

I know thick cow.She should have been celebrating the fact a young Celtic player had the chance to go to a team like Man U in the first place not booing the boy.

It was a pity what happened to Miller i liked him and thought he was going to become a cracking wee player.

 

I was the same and I predicted big things for him down in England but it just never happened for him.

He still scored the best goal I've ever seen in person in Tony Adam's testimonial where he flicked it over Kolo Toure's head then knee'd it up in the air and volleyed it in from the 18 yard line. Was reminiscent of the one Ginola scored for Newcastle in the UEFA cup.

Never knew about that Mick, might see if a few folk in Aberdeen are up for doing it because I grudge putting £75 a month into Rupert Murdoch and his creepy son's pockets.
