    An archaeological team, digging in Southampton, has uncovered fossil remains of what is believed to be the first Sc*mmer.

    Sorry that was a bit out of order, got a bit annoyed by a nasty post on the Echo site by someone calling themselves "Scumstomper", he isn't doing much for our causes.

    There's an awful lot of juvenile winding up going on between "scummers and skates" on the News site, it's just a free-for-all there. Haven't read the Echo so don't know what it's like but the "banter" as they like to call it goes on day and night on the Portsmouth News site with each of them trying to out do each other with insults and see how far they can go before being banned.

    The worst of them have finally been banned, but if you want to retain your sanity and sense of humour it really is best not to bother reading the comments on either websites. Needless to say - no discussion on football happens at all and the posters with something interesting to say have long disappeared.
