Thought both played well tonight but did anyone else think they looked tired before Blackpools third goal? I think the subs could have been used more effectively tonight.
Lack of squad depth is obviously an issue for Bruce as he doesn't seem to have faith with the players on the bench. Surely he wants to sign a loan player but either cannot find anyone good enough who is available or The Allams aren't willing to sanction a deal. I think it is probably the first option but injuries may have just forced his hand this week and I think we will see someone come in to bolster the squad
Yes i thought we were playing well until the last 20mins and the midfield area give to much room and looked tired
Koren and Oli as a centre mid pairing should never have happened. Neither are exactly willing to put their bodies on the line are they. The game was screaming out for someone like McKenna to sit in front of the defense for the last half an hour.
As I said on another thread, Holloway just had better quality on the bench, and that made the difference last night.
Did anyone hear Aluko's sister on 5 live at lunch time, she certainly came over well, and sounds very articulate.
