good player highly underarted for us, played in a **** team that even robin van persie would find hard to score in. i always thought he always looked a class above our other players tbh bar 1 or 2.

    <laugh>

He couldn't hit a donkeys arse with a banjo when he was with us.

    He was total gash.

Funny how everyone is saying how great he was and that they could see his potential.

    What a load of balls.

I wouldn't have paid him in washers at the time.

In a league where no one can defend to save their life.

He's been great everywhere he's been apart from at Hull, so when people say he's a good player it's because he is.

He was 19, playing in a **** team in the best league in the world with us, hardly worth writing him off over that.

He wont come back to us. He isnt even the first choice striker for the US national team anymore. They prefer a guy who plays in the MLS for good reason as Altidore has looked like **** in every national team game I have seen him in lately.

i wouldn't of payed 90% of the team in washers... thats my point!!! the team was gash so he was gash. your only as good as the players around you, it was clear to see he was a better player than most our team. no ones saying hes going to be a world beater, he will however go on to have a good career and play at a good level. one of our better players that season and our best striker by far.

He was clearly an Emile Heskey type of striker, the problem was our version of Michael Owen to play with him was either sat in the stands watching all the time, or was Craig bloody ***an.

    No.

It was funny when he headbutted Alan Hutton.

He can't kick a football though.

He just isnt good. If an MLS player is the first choice over you then thats all you need to know. This is the guy who starts over Altidore now. His name is Eddie Johnson he is a striker for Seattle.

He played for Fulham and was also on loan at Cardiff and Preston.

I actually dont think he is that good but Klinsmann doesnt like Altidore and we dont exactly have any decent goal scorers besides Dempsey.

    Which one?

I don't think Eddie Jonno has ever been to Manchester and he's off Greatfield?
