almunia to watford?

    As you might know about our (Watford) takeover and zola being our manager, we're linked with some former big players. I'm not sure almunia falls into this category though so I'd like the ultimate answer to the question of whether alumnus is good enough for the championship?

    Yep. He's error prone but can't be worse than some of the other Championship GKs.

    He is a fairly reliable when he is on form. As with any goalkeeper he needs confidence. He is experienced and if Calamity James can redeem himself in his 30s and 40s, then Almunia can as well.

    He is a decent enough shot stopper, but the rest of his games leaves a lot to be desired.

    That's unfortunately what I feared with comparisons. Calamity did bull plop season just gone including a huge blunder against watford (look it up on YouTube and it would be a facepalm moment)

    If I think I know who you mean, got rid of the bar steward couple of weeks ago. Apparently (and he did a brilliant job of keeping this hidden from the public) we were days away from administration
