I bow and salute the man, to have such an abundance of energy and will to compete at his age he has got to be the signing of the season by a country mile. Simply outstanding, please get him to stay on another year Mr Pearson !!!!!!!!!!
It's on record how much I was keen to sign him when all the speculation was happening pre-season - but I could not have anticipated the level of impact that he has had - if we stay up - and that's still a big 'if' IMHO - it will be largely down to his influence, experience, professionalism and sheer class.
I really hope he stays next season, surely another incentive to stay up? He just seems to be getting better the more he plays for us, which is ridiculous for a player of his age! He just seemed to be popping up everywhere yesterday, even when he didn't make a tackle he blocked the man off or got a clearance away, and some of his passing was delightful, especially the quick balls for Albrighton and Schlupp to run onto. I remember one where he made like he was going to make a 3 yard pass to Schlupp and just pinged a 30 yard pass to Albrighton on the other side, was utter class.
I agree he is becoming more influential with each game. So passionate too and always encouraging and advising the players around him. Think he will make an excellent manager at some point for someone
