It´s time for an all out Canary attack When Wenger and his troops arrive, No point turning up, then just sitting back So giving them chances to thrive, They´ll need no encouraging if we so do So why make it easy for them, With luck, optimism is still shining through So that all guns blaze from our men But we´ll need to fight every inch of the way From Ruddy J. right through to Holt, If we´re to have any chance on the day To cause them an upset or jolt, But of the top sides if I had to choose one Who don´t always get up to steam, It would be Arsenal, so maybe we´ll stun If all guns are blazing from our team And maybe it´s time for a wee slice of luck To land down on our Carrow Road, So that Saturday evening we break our duck And I can pen a winning ode, But even a point and an honourable draw Would certainly help bring some cheer, And however little, it´s still one point more If we get all guns blazing there And if we can take anything from this game How it would boost players and fans, Before we encounter he who can´t be named You know who, he of the big plans, And it is conceivable, if things go well Here, that a win at Villa Park, Would take us above them, now that would be swell But all guns must blaze from the start. Hi RBF, fantastic poem performed at a brisk pace, plenty of optimism and good cheer! I hope and pray that you are correct, 3 points would be wonderful and not altogether surprising!
No, not altogether surprising in any way Dave, I think we are playing better than our position suggests, and although this will be tough, it may not be as tough as some are expecting. Would be great to see us really go out positively and attack for all we´re worth, haven´t really seen much of that yet this year, and if we can cut out any silly errors at the back, then who knows. Ever the optimist
I've got a good feeling about Saturday and I'm getting excited about it already. I had to miss the Liverpool game and it seems soooooooo long since I saw us play.
