Would anyone be to bothered if McGregor does get to leave and we end up having Alexander in to replace him? Personally I don't mind him hes barely ****ed up for us and put in some really good performances before. All that's depending on him actually playing for us I suppose but I'd be hoping he stayed. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18623659 Disclaimer: ML Reserves to right to edit any taigy comments.
So who would "us" be if Green doesn't sell out and Brown or the Cardigan or some other bunch decide to put their own team out to stick it to him and force a sale of Ibrox and Murray Park? Neither team would be Rangers because Rangers are dead but what, for you, would constitute a reason to support one team over the other? would it depend on where they played or who backed them? (knowing whatever team it is won't be able to call themselves "Rangers" or "The Rangers" of course). Just wondering
I think the real issue with McGregor leaving is that we could have got a decent fee in for him. In terms of goalkeeping performance, Alexander is more than good enough for the SPL never mind the lower divisions.
I'm not at the wind up (for a change) but there's been a lot of chatter suggesting there won't be a team to play in any league this coming season. Do you think that is even a remote possibility?
I don't understand this logic Squiggy. The fans are adamant that no one should buy a season ticket in order to stop Green getting his hands on the money. Yet, fans want the players to sign over to NewCo so they can demand a fee which then ends up in the hands of Green. Unless they think that Green will be away soon and the money will go to a new consortium? It's a helluva risk for the players though.
