Ridiculous sacking, Norwich don't have a divine right to promotion in a very competitive Championship. 8th place is a positive outcome for a club of that size. We've seen what's happened to the likes of Blackpool, Bolton, Wigan, Wolves etc when they've chopped and changed with managers after relegation from the Premiership. For their lack of loyalty & realism Norwich deserve to go down next season!
Gary Gowers take on this afternoon's events. http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...ions-remain-as-to-where-this-club-is-heading/
Went to see Skull Island and missed all the action! Totally agree with Cromers first post, I said exactly the same to the gf when I read the news! Followed by "hang on, we have a game in the morning!! Why have they chosen after his press conference and hours before a game?!" F*cking idiots. Still, glad he's gone. About a season and a half too late, but still. He had to go, and he has. Don't think it will effect the result tomorrow as Alan Irvine has no time to change any plans or training. I'd expect him to make a few changes as he will want to show a difference from what has gone before. But wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't risk many changes because this has been dumped on him by the board a few hours before kick off. With no training sessions, no prior warning and only a few working hours before we kick off. The clowns in the board room really do seem mentally backwards.
