Irrespective of the damage I believe he's done to our game he's also been one of the best managers Britain has ever produced and has been an important figure in our game. Some very interesting comments, some of which I actually agree with.

    - Regrets not signing Frank Lampard (when at West Ham). Says what he has achieved at Chelsea is unbelievable and doesn't think it'll be repeated by another midfield player.

    - Says "If you saw Jose (Mourinho) and Rafa (Benitez) standing together on the touchline, you knew you could pick the winner."

    - Says he was one of the few that never felt Steven Gerrard was a top, top player.

    - Says Ronaldo was the most gifted player he ever managed.

    - Critical of the T-shirts supporting Suarez in wake of Evra race saga.

    - Maldini turned United down

Best domestic manager ever. Not quite tops when it comes to coaching, tactics and especially Champions League

KEANE ON SIR ALEX (From BBC Live Commentary)

Roy Keane, speaking to ITV about Sir Alex Ferguson criticising him in his autobiography [1852]: "I'm OK, quite relaxed. I remember having conversations about loyalty when I was at the club and I don't think he knows the meaning of the word.

"To constantly criticise other players that brought him success… I won't be losing any sleep over it.

"I just don't think the manager needs to do it. I don't know how many books he's written now. A lot of these players helped win a lot of trophies. It's just part of modern life. People like to do books and criticise ex-players.

"I'll have to do another book!"

I have to agree with Keano!

He criticised the whole Man Utd team in a interview on MUTV. Bit rich of him moaning about Fergie criticising him now.

Maybe he criticised them because they weren't good enough or playing to the standards expected of a Utd player <ok>

Ferguson confirms he was one of the best managers but one of the lowest forms of human life. Bitter, angry, hypocrite, who got rid of anyone he percieved would be "bigger" than the manager. Bigger what?? Cnut, drunk, slime bag, whinger,Ref fiddler ??
Went on too long, got found out by Jose and Guardiola, who put him in the shade.
Football needs people like him like it needs bowel cancer.

Love it when **** wits like you use words bitter, angry and hypocrite in passages like this and don't spot the irony as that is exactly what you clearly are.

Went on too long? The last thing he did was win yet another league title you bell.

The last thing he did was betray the club, fans and players that generated his success. Expense his resignation soon

No, he hasn't. I think you've been listening to a bit too much talk sport.

Try reading it, then make whatever claim you like.

Felt the title was all wrong for the badly written content within, should have been titled as; 'The satanic ramblings of a drunken Scottish ****'

There's no irony and and I have never been hypocritical when it comes to Red Nose the person. He is a serious piece of low life, always has been ,always will be.There's his dodgy son , the "Agent", the Refs with his mobile number, his appalling lack of sportsmanship, his hypocracy regarding his alleged left wing leanings, finding no problem working with the Glazers, "rampant Capitalists' he described them , but now denies doing so. No suprise there. His banning of the BBC who asked tough questions he couldn't answer, the list goes on.
The last thing he did was abandon his club with little notice, and only time to get in Moyes, nice one Fergie. Now, to earn a few easy quid, he ****s on all the players who made him the manager he was,one with a great record with which I have no dispute.
The return of Jose, who absolutely owned him last time round, and since in the CL, as did Guardiola, showed him up as past it.
He can now go off and drink himself to death.
**** wit??? Take a look in the mirror to see the genuine article. And do a bit more research before you make a bigger cnut of yourself.

Don't mind anyone criticising my opinion EC, as long as they get their facts right. I have always separated my opinion of Fergurson the manager from Fergurson the man. One was great, the other not so great.
