    difficult for anyone to sign him now. He would need a medical etc. before an offer could be made. Would have to do this in the next couple of days. If he isnt sold by the weekend then he is staying with us.

    Well good to see means we can get til the summer then let him go as he won't wanna be at a club in league 1 or likely to be fighting at the bottom of the championship year after year

    This African Cup of Nations would be a major detriment to me signing anyone eligible for selection when you consider the time that they are likely to be unavailable. An honour for Albert no doubt but what if he picks up an injury and is out for an even longer time.

    Why can't they get real and hold their tournament during the off season every 4 years in between World Cups?

    They are seriously letting down their employers most of whom are doling out massive sums of money by saying they are off back to Africa. Stop this nonsense or better still never offer contracts in the first place until they change the format of this competion. Enough is enough.
