Our new signings will probably play a big part this month ............be it summer signings starting for the first time basically .Hope Eder is healed .
I'm just thinking back to when we were in the fourth division at The Vetch. If a struggling Division 1 side had come down for an FA Cup fixture they would have had a torrid afternoon
Oxford like to keep the ball too, they are going to have to get used to being on the other side of the coin tomorrow, hope we put at least 3 past them.......
Oxford's pitch was relaid last summer and although it may not be on par with ours is still decent enough to play football on so hopefully the rain stops tonight but leave s it with plenty of zip on it which should suit us as well as them.
The dire win (if there's such a thing) away at Southampton last season sums up your point perfectly I think.
Curtis is nothing more than the new Fall guy im afraid. He will be the name in the record books as the one that took us down with most of the second half of the season to go........Our strikers are the only players that can save his bacon by scoring goals, This is my only worry as they have not been able too so far this season and if they carry on being poor then even the best managers in the world would see us relegated.......Our football apart from scoring goals has been fairly good so im not worried about that but if you cant get the end result then your in trouble......Why we have not got a couple of new strikers in beggars belief ...even a loan striker, So Gomis Eder Ayew had better up their game in the run in or its curtains for whoever is the boss...
It may have passed you by but if you check the record books and even delve deep into your cranium you'll discover that in the history of professional football no team has ever been relegated in January
