I posted in the other thread that at today's press conference Kit refused to comment on the rumour that Alan Curbishley would be coming back - presumably as Director of Football. Surly correctly pointed out that this deserve a thread in it's own right.
Apparently one of Curbishley's main tasks when last here was to scout the opposositon and pass on tips (to Rene). Curbs wasn't with us very long so it's difficult to say whether he was effective or not, although all the stories around that time was that he was well thought of within the Club. This new rumour is a strange one. Is he going to be appointed before the manager's job is made permanent and to assist in the selection process? Might be, given that Kit went "no comment" to the question.
