I didn't read the thread properly but having a quick scan through, I couldn't see another mention of Skrtel Besides, Skrtel plays well in a three but he'll return to being **** in a four soon enough
I do love Agger but he is a huge liability at set-pieces. I lost count of how many goals we conceded last year from corners where Agger lost his marker. We're pretty awful at defending them in general as a team, but it's definitely a real weakness to his game on his own. Toure, Sakho and Skrtel are playing pretty well and adapting to the system. I'm delighted to see our first 11 is picked on form rather than name.
Hummels will be off to Barca no doubt. I can see us selling one of Agger or Skrtel this summer (depends who's interested) and then selling the other the season after - like Gerrez said. Need some familiarity in the team. They'll be on the hit list with players akin to Sakho looked at as the next CB generation.
Also have some other young a up coming CB's out there I believe we are tracking such as Kurt Zouma from St. Etienne. Not sure how much truth but I am sure we have our fingers on the pulse. Dede is getting called up to the Brazilian national team as another FYI in terms of someone we were looking heavily at.
