We paid the 7th highest in the Championship. They are bleeding the game, like leeches. http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-19764090-detail/story.html?#axzz2df63xYB6
Agents are now vital in higher levels of sport. How else are Sunseeker going to stay in business? I mean for heavens sake, the Monaco economy is at risk if agents fee's get cut.
Surprised to see Leicester down there. Anyone know how this compares to previous seasons? I would have thought from 2007/08 onwards it would be down his year?
On a slightly different tack, I guess Shane Longs agent would have been a bit pissed off that the deal didn't go through.
I understand people's views on Sky and I agree with some of the reasons but lets not forget, without Sky Sports there probably would be no Football League after the mess ITV Sport left it in when that collapsed. A lot of clubs would have fallen with it. The only reason the SPL/SPFL is still going is because Sky and ESPN invested in it last season. Yeah Sky have too much power but without them, what would we realistically have left?
Well I doubt we'd have Bale going for £86 million, probably right now we'd be looking to spend 1.5 million as a transfer record.
