Yeah, Just need to make sure you win that game in hand then I think you can afford to win 4 draw 1 in my eyes.
Played poorly most of the game. Too slow and plodding in midfield. Weren't pressurising the ball and half the team had shockers (Butterfield, Hammond, Stephens, Lambert and Guly... up to his goal). Think it helped us that Rovers sat back in the 2nd half, if they had shown a bit more adventure, they could have got at least a point. Honestly didn't think that goal was coming. Felt like "one of those games", especially with such a ****e ref. A win is a win and very very thankful of it !!! Shame about Barnard, gonna miss him badly. How come 1,300 Rovers fans can make more noise than the Northam? Those 5,000 or more who piss off 5 minutes before the end of the game, please can they be banned from the last game of the season? Can't see why they should change a habit of a lifetime and stay for the final whistle, its much more important to "beat the rush". Really ****ing annoys me more and more. STAY TO THE END OF THE ****ING GAME. STOP BEING ****S.
The win was all that mattered. But I agree about the supporters leaving early. I don't understand how anyone can leave with 5 minutes to go. The person stood behind me moaned the whole game and then left on 80 minutes. I hope he never comes back as I don't think I've ever come across such a pessimistic fan. We don't need supporters like that. We need supporters to get behind the team the whole game like most of the fans at St Mary's at every week. Great noise again in the second half from the Northam and Kingsland North.

Steady on people, I know it is stressfull, but there are good reasons why some have to leave early, mostly to do with transport connections, we don't all have cars you know, I know for certain that some of the Isle of Wight guys have to go to make their ferry. As for me I never leave early, I am worried I might miss something good.
I think some of our posters did not realise how important the result was to Bristol Rovers today, they weren't here just to make the number up while we got easy pickings, their lot is the fact that they are in the relegation zone, a result for them today would have been as important as it was to us, so cut them a bit of slack, they made it hard because they are fighting for their lives, we won in the end with a bit of class when everything else had failed. Don't you just hate Referees who want to be the headliners?
Cannot agree with the m o m for Forte, would have done if he had taken his chances, but so many went begging. Fonte was a rock in the defence got my vote.
Horrible first half, much better second. If maths is correct Peterborough now need to get a win and a draw better than Saints, in four games, plus we have a game in hand. Huddersfield are the greater threat now as they only need a draw more than us. In practice they cannot afford to slip up at all. After an dodgy performance like that, it's strange that our position gets stronger as we run out of season.
Just got back. The first half was bitty and worrying, but we stepped up the pace in the 2nd half. Once again it was our failure to finish; we had a load of chances. I was just saying this is a game that Brighton would win, when we scored. Can't agree with all comments about the team. In the 2nd half, we were pacy and were miles ahead of them for skill, but the poor conversion rate has been our problem all season. The 3 points are the most important thing. Bad news about Barney, hope it isn't as bad as it looked. We might yet be grateful for Connelly. Annoying that Hudds play on Friday because we could have to go into the Brighton game having dropped to third. On the bright side, they may lose.
I also thought we were by far the better side in the second half and we were basically camped in there half,should of won by more but i'm happy with the game today.People have also got to remember that we had lallana,chamberlain and spiderman man out,three of our most creative players,any other team would struggle without having them so all in all if we win every game until the end of the season 1 - 0 and by being not at our best then i'd take it!
Personally I thought Guly played well - thought him and Fonte were our two best players. Fantastic result. Awful referee. Now for Brighton.
