It’s certain death, so at that point I’d say you’d just weigh up the quickest and least painful way to kill yourself. Falling 1000ft onto a concrete runway is probably not it.

What about the ones that managed to stay in, who have frozen solid during the flight and will fall out when the pilot opens the landing gear.

Splattered on the side of some Cypriot mountain or something.

Least painful way would have been to die with a bullet, fighting for your family or at the very least your dignity.

That's all fine moving forward, but if you're a soldier who's served over there, maybe got life changing injuries, or you're the family of a soldier who was killed, you're looking at that right now and thinking what a fcking betrayal, what a fcking waste of time! Thanks 'Merica!

Blair and Bush took us to a war I didn't agree with, Biden ended it the cowards way, to ensure he don't upset the American voters or something. Obviously he could have stayed and remained protecting 40 million Afghans, but 81 Million American voters are apprarently more important.

Well in the States the vast majority of army recruits come from deprived, desperate areas. And are basically considered cannon fodder by those in charge. But if you're a British soldier who served over there I doubt you're feeling any cleverer tbh.

To be fair mate, I’d hope they directed their anger at the **** who put them there, not the one who took them out.

Fair point. Add Blair to that.

I love that shoe throwing incident. So typical of the place, lobbing your shoe at the bloke, the ultimate sign of contempt in the middle-east <laugh>

Now there's a slimy toad coward if ever there was one.

My most hated politician/ prime minister of all time. I've always said if there was one bullet you could put in someone, without a shadow of doubt, mine would be Blair, and what is more sickening in my eyes, he still has the front to appear on TV for interviews. Hopefully there'll be a nice warm place for him in hell. I can't believe a terrorist hasn't taken him out by now.

I'm watching him on Newsnight right now.

What he's said today AFTER the fall of Kabul.

And I'm thinking, word for word if that was Trump saying it, Biden himself would be slating him.

This shows more than anything, regardless of whatever the political party, when you look at Bush, Blair, Biden, Bojo, they're all the same when it comes to foreign affairs.

The ultimate irony was the bloke became the Middle-East peace envoy trying to sort out a peace process between Israel/Palestine <doh> <laugh>
