Eccles has said that he wants to sell. It is only the price that is the issue. If he had a football brain, he would sell now - I can't see the price rising.
I'd be interested to see where he said that he wants to sell. The only quote from him we have seen in recent days was from Spain and that specifically said that the Mittals had forgot to ask if the club was for sale before tabling their bid. That is probably brinkmanship of course but I've seen nothing since.
Thinking on about this shareholder situation something else occured to me which is I wonder if Eccles and Bluebottle actually trust each other. Our thinking seems to harness the idea that it's the Mittals versus an Eclles/Bluebottle alliance. If the Mittals can persuade either of the other two to sell privately to them then the remaining one will be in the same toothless situation that Mittals are in now. I think we all have a view on the slipperyness of either Eccles or Bluebottle. I wouldn't trust either of them. I personally don't think a season ticket boycott would work. QPR will have no problem selling out most games whether it be as presold season tickets or walk up on the day sales. We just don't have enough seats to sell to make a few thousand boycotters make a difference. I think noisy protests at the matches will help as long as it's directed very obviously at the directors box, assuming either of the two are there. We'll be on the TV a lot I guess next season and nobody wants the millions watching across the globe to be shown how little esteem we have for them. That said, you'll go a long way to find a thicker skin than Bluebottle as last seasons F1 fiasco's made obvious.

I agree Goldhawk. Either his position has changed 180 degrees or he's hanging on to see how things fall. I think on reflection Brixton that Eccles is more Moriarty and Bluebottle is more Seagoon.......Nah forget all that it's too complicated. Eccles and Bluebottle it is.

Slimeylyingparasite seems a bit long! As for what the fans can do. Disagree with OTR's assertion that '...nobody wants the millions watching (tv) across the globe to be shown how little esteem we have for them'. I think it's vital that fans in and outside the ground distance ourselves from club damaging crud by taking full advantage of the regular opportunities for free publicity. (I'm sure Murdoch won't mind!) Visual and verbal demonstrations revealing our disgust at Eccles (the fans don't matter), Bluebottle (crash your car, crash your club) and Slimeylyingparasite (i luv exploiting QPR) suggesting that any disrepute relating to 'QPR cheats' remains closely associated with this cynical bunch. Mud sticks. Green and white scarves anyone?
I agree Brixton. What I meant was nobody in the directors box would want the world to see how we detest them. Especially the swaggering Italians and little Eccles who have a profile across the world and sports outside of football. The beauty of a loud and disrespectful chant at the directors whilst we're on the telly cannot be hidden and as you say I wouldn't put it past Murdoch to turn up the volume.
