Run firefox and download the Ad-block plugin and you're sorted.

There are no adverts for members/logged in users - only for people who are logged out.

I've put adverts in to piss the people off who refuse to sign in and just browse as guests, and in the mean time pay for the server costs for the rest of the members who do contribute.

Fair play Mick. To be honest I wouldn't have a problem with you creaming it, must take up a massive amount of your time.

Me too - personally I've learned to blank out banner and column adverts when browsing. As long as we don't end up with pop ups and embedded video ads all over the place I wouldn't mind a few ads if they will help with costs etc. But it's obviously your call Mick <ok>

    Hardly creaming it <whistle>

I am genuinely hoping to cover costs at first. No doubt I'd love to be able to grow this site to the point where it gave me something close to a full time wage but at current levels that is a long way off, and if we manage to make a bit extra any time soon it is going straight back in to try encourage growth.
