Agreed anything higher than terminal velocity (400ft or so) is a waste Plus if you are the one who pushed him out you can see him splat
There are a lot of so called pundits I'd like to have seen leave before Adrian tbh but can't say I'm disappointed he's gone either.
Had basically forgotten this guy existed until this news. Same for most pundits and sports presenters. If they annoy you it's the worst thing when you're watching them. Then you turn it off and forget about them until next time. He is/was absolute ****e as a presenter though, contributes nothing other than that jokey matey stupidy questiony thing he does.
Same goes for Lawro - some of these 'pundits' are more interested in trying to be funny rather than offer proper analysis.
I try not to crow about people losing their jobs, but it will be nice not having to hear him for a while I must say.
I had 4 years at uni in Birmingham, so the less I hear that ****ing horrific accent, the better. He also knows **** all about footie.
Neither do half the other so called "experts". Having played the game doesn't automatically make someone good at analysing and explaining it. At best, I only half listen to anything said before, in between or after the games, tbh.
I leave it off honestly. I used to take in say MOTD2, MOTD... i could take or leave and andy gray's 6pm sum up on super sunday was usually good. Now though? it's all gone to pot. especially motd2. What i found from thierry henry's debut was... oh oh... the guy is out to phone this in
Terry Tibbs is making his Talksport debut shortly with his new phone in show...... I reckon he'll have more insight than Lawro.........
Agree 100%. It's frustrating because these pundits will say anything and the fans will believe them, because they've been there and done it. There are only a handful of people in the English media who actually talk sense and don't have an urge to sound controversial or make a joke to improve their reputation/image as a pundit.
