Adele Taraabt's bus

Andrew Johnson's hat-trick at the weekend were his first league goals of the season. He said, "They're like a number 3 bus. You wait ages and then three come along at once". Adel Taarabt said, "yeah, the number 17 is like that too"

 

Haha! Nice one. Welcome aboard, Fulhamjohn.

 

In the post-game interview after his hat trick, Johnson deflected all the credit onto his teammates. Class.

 

Taarabt was full of praise for the bus driver, apparently.

 

I just don't understand why Taarabt didn't get a taxi. Having said that, he has apparently expressed a wish to leave QPR in January due to "financial reasons" so maybe he couldn't afford one.

 

Maybe he took a bus as a symbolic gesture, because we'd just driven one through QPR's defence.

 

Or maybe he wanted to avoid any "Taxi for QPR" jokes.
