no offence but he is sh1te , we already have a 100m sprinter. I dont think he is top of our " must have " list . We need to build our team from the defence. The defense is the single most important weakness we need to address. We have no problem scoring goals , just with conceding them 5 minutes later. It used to be when it was "one nil to the Arsenal " it was game over. Now we are still shi1tting it if we are 3 up.
Quality player but he's a prick and is on 170k a week, so no. He can be the ball boy for Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko, Balotelli and Co.
Please don't mix up over-rated and ****e. He is so horribly over-rated by the media. He isn't the best player in the Premier League, he's not even the best player in the Spurs midfield, but he most certainly isn't ****e, and he is also certainly not just a 100m sprinter. He's a fantastic left midfielder, who has been played out of position by Redknapp who has tried to make him play in the Messi free role. If we stick to actually playing him LM, he is the best LM in the league (albeit with little competition).
Ok he is not sh1te compared to real sh1te like Stewart Downing but , we certainly dont need or want him.
What about if we got him after we sorted out the defence problem? Bale is a sprinter, so is Walcott, but at least Bale gets the ball in the box at the end of his run 90% of the time and will shoot from outside the box. Walcott struggles most of the time in his position and rarely shoots. Bale's not my first choice but wouldn't rule him out if he showed interest in us.
