I’m looking forward to Saturday’s game, although probably not as much as @Sat In Greenwich is.

The legendary ex player, who achieved England status and has now gone on to be a very impressive manager in impossible circumstances, will stride out of the Valley tunnel and receive a rapturous reception from Charlton fans as he walks down the touchline.

But enough about Lee Bowyer. This has now become a must win game, with Donny in great form behind us and closing fast.

I still think Sunderland & Portsmouth will finish in the top 2. The biggest club with the biggest budget...and the top class Kenny Jackett will see to that.

Luton and Barnsley look all but guaranteed a play off place at least.

That leaves Charlton, Peterborough and Doncaster vying for the remaining two Play Off places.

If we can’t finish above those two after 46 games, we shouldn’t even be allowed to think about how we would fare in the Championship under Duchatelet <yikes>

I think Luton will be in the automatic promotion place.

I expect Bowyer to revert to two strikers up front, and Igor to be one of them, probably Parker t'other.
If the old Igor were to return we would be talking a different ball-game. Wishful thinking I suppose.

No more 4-5-1 please, it stinks with the players we have available.

Bielik can slot into the Back 4 to replace the suspended Bauer.

Any two of three to start up front out of R H-F, Parker and Fatekole.

The third one can come on after about 15 mins, to replace his injured team mate..

i've actually got tickets for this game but aren't going. the january transfer window has transformed us from top 2 hopefuls to "we'll be lucky to make the playoffs" now.

I’m not going on Saturday now either - I’m going horse racing instead.

My enthusiasm for freezing my bollox off while watching Josh Parker is minuscule...

I'm taking my disabled mate to see wham at Palace. Hopefully Spam will win, can't take the goal music when Palace score. God forbid we ever get American owners at Charlton. Goal music and majorettes:emoticon-0119-puke::emoticon-0119-puke::emoticon-0119-puke::emoticon-0119-puke::emoticon-0119-puke::emoticon-0119-puke::emoticon-0119-puke::emoticon-0119-puke:.

There's something logical about this. Whatever next? Maybe a middle-aged Betty Hill chasing a bunch of male models to the tune of Yakkity-axe.:emoticon-0159-music:emoticon-0159-music

He's an option for our front two on Saturday against (excluding Curbs) our greatest ever manager.... Vetokele & Aouachria … they did OK against QPR on Monday.

Isn't he doing well at Newport? Proper owners would surely have found a role for him at Charlton.
