Starting to look a very good player. One for the future but could get some first team action in a couple of years with Kuyt getting older. One to keep an eye on. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/team/academy/player/adam-morgan A talented forward with a prolific strike rate, Morgan was the U18s' top scorer during the 2010-11 season. The young scouser fired 21 goals as the Reds finished as runners-up in the league. He also grabbed an Anfield brace in a Youth Cup defeat to Manchester United and featured for the reserves in a season that concluded with a run-out at the U17 World Cup with England.
Still find it hard to get excited about him, partly through having seen youngsters with similar or better stats fail and partly because he does not seem to have a lot to his game apart from that miracle knack of being in right place at right time. Obviously I hope he progresses but I just feel that he needs more to his all round game.
my opinion largely mirrors that of terrifictraore. I have this opinion as its a huge step up from u18 to reserves and then the step up form the reserves to actual first team for LFC is gigantic. I think he's better than eccleston as scoring but just doesn't have the raw pace to make a break through for us. I compare him to welbeck and sturridge and i just think he needs to be quicker across the ground to break through for us. I think he could make it elsewhere though... fowler to owen to dalle valle to morgan and all those in between.... the commonality between fowler and owen was not only the goal scoring (which morgan has) but at 17 fowler was very very quick as well as possessing a left foot gifted by god.
His finishing is what makes me exited about him as he seems a natural finisher, of course he's young but I just have a feeling he may be a good player for us.
