    Agree that jonshon atleast deserved a spot in the squad, biased? yes! watched the three lions first game aginst the azzuri, sterling looked well overdone but woy persisted with him, maybe aj could've provided an impact? who knows but woy sticking with the same team against uruagauy says to me that he's an ignorant old ****.. in saying that if it's true what you say about aj losing his impetus cause he wasn"t picked then i wouldnt want him playing for us if he didnt wear his heart on his true sleeve!

    I always thought Johnson was a handy impact sub for England (obviously before he came SAFC and the caps inevitably dried up) and probably would have been in this World Cup too. He has very quick feet against tired opposition and always seems to be able to make space for a shot (e.g. vs West Ham).

    However the biggest issue with the England team for me is the lack of bite. How many "proper" tackles have we made in 2 games? We've been far too nice and lost a number of 50:50s.

    I think this is & has been the problem with the England set up mate.. If you don't play for a ' Big Club' you don't get in unfortunately...
