A campaign is required. Not to rid us of Paul Jewell, but to oust Clegg. I can build a website easily enough to raise awareness. Cleggout.org or something... don't think I can do much else from afar though.

What do people think?

Not a bad idea, we can then post it on TWTD and perhaps get it sent to the Norwich based local rag.

Doubt it would make a difference but anything is worth a try!

Only if you know it is Clegg thats the problem and not the constraints put on him by ME.
You could just get rid of him and get an identikit replacement if all they are doing is following ME's wishes

I'm not here to take sides in any way, just merely wanting peoples honest opinion.. but how does everyone think they know what, or why Clegg is at fault for every failed dealings? If a player is playing ****e, then fine, we can have a dig at him. If the manager picks the "wrong" team, or formation, then again..we can have a dig at him. But what do we really think Clegg does (or doesn't do) to cock everything up? What is the expected role of the chief exec? We generally have 11 decent players on the pitch, so surely it's down to the players and coaches that have taken our club backwards. If players don't want to sign for us, then that should be the end of it. It shouldn't affect our pi$$ poor performances on a saturday afternoon, thats down to the players/manager/coaches.

But seriously, we have people on here and its been in the press saying that ME does a lot of the wheeling and dealing in regards to the transfers, surely the CEO should be trusted enough to do that?

Its like having a painter and decorator that isn't allowed to use a brush!

Talking of the local rag, Ipswich star live webchat!!

While the double bid for Peterborough pair George Boyd and Paul Taylor has cooled, after the players failed to agree personal terms last night, Jewell has not given up hope of boosting his fragile squad – including the expected capture of Daryl Murphy today.
A new centre-back is also being actively sought while we understand Ryan Stevenson is not the only current squad member who might be heading out the exit door.
We want your views. What do you think of the current transfer situation? Are Town penny-pinching and if so who do you blame for the lack of arrivals – Jewell, Simon Clegg or Marcus Evans or a combination?
Or are you backing the Blues’ policy as we enter the era of Financial Fair Play?

* Let us know by logging on and getting involved in today’s one-hour webchat from 1.30pm.

Could be interesting!!

EVANS has to put up or **** off its as simple as that!

We are currently the living dead in football terms, perhaps I should look in the loft for my "Zombies" T-shirt that I wore when Bobby was manager!

It's taken people a while but I think many of you are joining me in thinking that ME is the real problem at PR.

Is it a coincidence that when Clegg was busy with the Olympics, you boys were happy bunnys, and now he's concentrating more on Ipswich, you're all unhappy again.
