    So NUFC are going to replace a 28 year old with...............a 28 year old!!

    I wonder how long his contract will be.

    He actually looks like the sort of player we need. What i like is that he's isn't all about skill and dribbling, his deliveries and creativity look great. I'd definitely pay 4.5 mil for him.

    Sounds like tactics from the club vis a vis Barton situation. Put pressure on his agent, by having a friendly hack release a story suggesting that they are lining up a replacement.

    He seems to be a bit old, as all Ashley's new signings tend to be in their early/mid twenties. On the other hand, they might be serious about it, as clearly there has been no love lost between the board and JB since they wanted to sack him when he got jailed, but Kevin Keegan wouldn't go along with it.

    Yes, but i think he should accept a less involved role mate. He's been awesome, but i think we can add a better player to the squad.

    He could be used as an impact player.
