There is a huge proportion albeit a minority of supporters against the Glazers. Even now. Roman knew that Benitez had ridiculed Chelsea and the fans in the past. He knew that the last manager in the world that th fans wanted was him. So why choose him even on an interim basis? He knew he would hurt the fans and yet he didn't give a sh1t!
A huge proprtion minority sounds strange. That could be 49.9% or 1%. Because RA will choose what he thinks is right and he has until now been proven right. I don't think he's caught into the over-emotional aspect of the average supporter. Is he doing it for the benefit of Chelsea? I believe he thinks so. Do other owners do the same? No. They worry about flotations and taking loans against a PLC that may never be repaid. I know which I prefer.
What the success bit? I think its fair to say most of your success in recent years has been down to his money. Without it I very much doubt you'd of won any League - I remember before he came in you were in trouble and there were rumours of Hasslebank having to be sold. You were like us, bumbling around 4-7. I don't know why you consider that bollocks.
I love the club but hates the f**kers because I know that he is taking large amounts of money out of the club. At least we are not afraid to tell him our feelings. He may not worry too much about it but that's not the. Point. The same with roman. He may not take any action as a result of any protests but at least you can tell him that he shouldn't f**king do what he likes. Sack someone you idolise and appoint someone you despise...( not a bad catchphrase!)
True haters of the Glazers broke away from Utd in protest and formed FCUM, seeing as you still back the Glazers financially going to games, buying shirts, lampshade, pyjamas etc why pretend you hate them.
@ the OP... For christsake! Don't encourage the Chelsea boys to boo Mad Dog! He's tougher than Sir Alan Sugar, and far more entertaining. Now that he has Coco to slap around, this is going to be the best double-act in football, the like of which many of us have never seen, and may never see again in our life-times. Don't ruin that, please.
the way you put it. plus that's not really related to what you said, you said if he went we'd basically be ****ed which I think is bollocks.
well I don't think he'd just up and leave without receiving a nice chunk of money so it'd have to be another big investor. We'd still have shirt sales, sponsors etc too. Just my opinion, it's one of those where it'd have to happen to know for sure.
40000 fans in a stadium shouting "Rafa Out!" . Who appointed him? yes, Mr Roman. Who is to blame for inflicting that man whom you hate on you? Mr Roman. Who sacked the man you idolised? Mr Roman. All you can think of is to crucify Rafa alone. Praying that Mr Roman won't take personally and leave you... Eh...he could go to another London club and you'll be stuffed. Is that what you are worried about?
You're actually being a little unfair....to village idiots. He beats them hands down. I know he's extremely young and immature but that's no excuse. i guess a trophyless season last year and the prospect of many more to come has gotten to the boy.
