Whoops It is the BBC the home of lazy journalism and rehashed reports, even though undisclosed £1 million was the figure reported. Dont see us paying £6 million for anyone in this window
Even Lee Clark admitted that getting just £1M for him with 20% sell on clause was still an excellent deal for them given he only had one year left on his contract. The Beeb journos as the principle source of (accurate) news in the UK should be ashamed on themselves for such slap dash reportage.
The trouble is, some will believe everything they read as gospel when it comes to City managers et al and transfer fees paid.
