I suspect Sturridge is probably ok by now. I reckon we withheld him from the weekend game just to make certain Woy didn't get his mucky paws on him. Miss one game to save him missing half a dozen more. I suppose someone must like International breaks. I know they're a money spinning plot devised by football authorities to wring every last penny they can from people, but if nobody at all was interested then it wouldn't work. I think England tend to be more popular in the South, probably because that's where they play most. If the national team played more in the regions it might get a bigger following there, but as it's part of the agreement to play at Wembley for God knows how many games, to pay for its cost, that's not going to happen any time soon. Personally, even if they were playing in my back garden... well, you know the rest.
