Been thinking about last nights game and having already posted about the RVP sending off I thought I'd pose the question: should Fabregas have been playing? Don't get me wrong, he's a great player but he wasn't at the races last night and I'm guessing he wasn't fully fit. If that was the case should he have been playing, what were the options and would it have affected the final outcome.
Not a wind up, just interested in your thoughts.

He said he was ok to play and was passed fit so there was no reason not to play him, he is the captain after all and vital to the team. But unfortunately he just did not turn up, whether it was the fact that he was not 100% fit or the spectacle got the better of him we will never know. Perhaps it was a mistake but if your captain is available to play then there is no real reason not to play him.

I expect Wenger thought a partly fit Fabregas would be better than a fully fit Denilson. Hard to argue really, although I'm surprised he didn't have Ramsey at least on the bench. Why recall him from Cardiff if he's not going to feature?

Sounds like a gamble that didn't pay off. We've all seen plenty of them and one can understand why Fabregas would really want to play. I know its disapointing but let's hope Wenger rallies the players now and they have a real go at picking up the Premiership title and the F.A.Cup. Good luck
