To all who post here on GILLINGHAM'S Not606 board. I think it's fair to say that over the past couple of weeks there have been a few threads that have generated many different points of views. One's about Hess jnr's contract, Whelp's and Lee, PT etc etc. Refreshingly for me there has been none of the descending into petty abuse that you get on other sites. Each has freely put forward their point of view and accepted that others may not agree but their view point is also valid. This is not something that happens in everyday life let alone message forums. It is one of the reasons that I prefer this site to any other I have come across. So I just wanted to say Thank you to you all for all the respect shown to our fellow fans. THANK YOU.
I think its great that we can express opinion's without descending into personal attacks. I probably more than most am very opinionated in my views but i speak from the heart if not from the brain sometimes. I might slate someone one minute and praise them the next, dependent on performance. You only had to have seen my old Martin comments to know that. But we are all very respectful of one another's views and persona, no matter sometimes how irritating we (I) may be! Most of us come from the old BBC606 so we all know one another well enough by now, even in reality as our not606 Gills community grows. Everything from the Gills Northern Elite (GNE) to the Angry Camels. Everyone of us genuine supporters just wanting to have fun without all the nasty stuff.
What a load of old rubbish, drivel likes this deserves to be slated! OK. maybe not, it is refreshing to have different opinions without personal insults, and brb you have 100% agreement from all board members with your statement "I probably more than most am very opinionated in my views"
