Pompey are set to sign Wes Thomas on a month's loan from Bournemouth http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19758109. Meanwhile, Jamo had joined the Cherries for the rest of the season. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19742976
He got 11 goals last season! Hopefully he'll find the net for us! And good luck to Jamo- I thought he would retire after he left Bristol City- I thought he had when I saw him on TV during the Euros for the BBC!
If you enjoy playing and keep fit, it's natural to go on as long as you can. Unlike outfield players, Goal Keepers can keep going on and on. Look at Peter Shilton. He played his final professional game [for Leyton Orient] at the age of 47.
Wes Thomas seems a lively player, and skilfull - I liked the way he turned the defender in the first half and put in a lovely cross. Just a shame McLeod wasn't on the end of it. Scored the winner for us right at the end, so he did well for us.
