Let me rephrase this in light of this game (Stoke). We have one qualified fullback in the whole squad. Harry doesn't even seem to be looking for defensive additions. 3 moments of poor defending. We brought in one striker and he doesn't even play.
I still agree that we need proper full backs which in turn will allow alternatives in Midfield & Attack. I'm not sure why everyone is fixated on Attack when it's our defensive record that's by far the worst in the division whereas our attack hasn't done too badly. At the moment the only way we can pick up points is to score 2 or 3 as will guarantee to let in 1 or 2.
Sorry to bring this thread up again but we are only interested in signing attackers when our defense is the worst in the league? Why isn't a defender on his way to sign on loan? Why aren't we even looking when there's only 1 true fullback in the squad and we have only two young CBs who aren't yet comfortable at this level.
