Im a jack through and through and longer than most on here may add, and have done more with the swans than any of you will hope to do in your life time...get over it and deal with it....I take no crap like we were the best at this the best at that and the snide remarks about past managers or players and certainly the manager who took us to the premiership. I take no crap that we deserved to win or lose and over the top bollox some say on here about the swans, the latest one from dill is we were in second gear and liverpool were at their best come on get back in the real world. we saw a game that the two teams had chances and if you were not bias you know it is us who were glad to hear the final whistle as they were killing us at times. we are not as technical as liverpool overall but can hold our own but if the game had gone on any longer then there was only going to be one winner and that was liverpool..Its one point gained for us and 2 points dropped by liverpool and im very happy with that......no bullshit just straight from the hip......
Dai, are you even aware that you're coming across as someone who wanted Liverpool to win and you seem disappointed that they didn't ? We could have played better but I doubt very much that they could. I'm disappointed we didn't win. Shows how far we have come and how far backwards they have gone. Chelsea, Arsenal and the two Manchester clubs are teams I hope we can get something against. Liverpool I expect to get something against, how the mighty have fallen.
they have not fallen , to fall you would have to slide down the leagues like leeds did..that is what you call a team that you can say "how the mighty has fallen" I would love to have had the history they have had and they are still in the premiership and building with a new manager...I would not call a team that has not lost in their last 8 games a team in decline ...would you ??? ...like i said dont exaggerated how good we are and how bad they are because you will lose the argument with facts every single time....and its a shame a jack has to put you right.....
What a load of horse manure! Facts! you wouldn't know a football fact if it came up and bit you in your scouser arse! Liverpool were lucky we were playing at home and off form, and Laudrup needs to understand the Importance of Nathan Dyer!...............
Yes. Beat them in the League Cup. 9. placed they're 11. And they haven't scores against Swans in the last three prem games. As of today, Swansea are a better football team than Liverpool. It's official.
You don't even give a **** that you're so blatantly a Liverpool fan do you Dai ? Now there's a fact for you. Champions League = Elite teams, there's another fact and your beloved Liverpool are way behind those teams. Like I said how the mighty (5 time European cup winners) have fallen
I know mate. I'm just waiting to see who'll be the 1st to accuse me of picking on Dai. Bear in mind though that I haven't called him any names or used any bad language
**** me if you think that was us "firing on all cylinders" don't watch the Norwich or Wigan game as you might think were a really good team. We were ****e. utter, utter ****e. Besides the first 30-40mins that was one of our most insipid performances so far. We basically played most of the game with no midfield as Gerrard had gone AWOL, Henderson was playing in the role Gerrard should of been playing, and Allen had too much to do carrying Stevie on his back all game. I get no joy in saying how **** we are btw, I'm gutted as its the story of our season and keeps repeating itself, but don't kid yourself thinking thats as good as it gets for Liverpool as you couldn't be more wrong. The only games we've played generally well and close to our best is Man City, Man U and Wigan (after we got the first) and every LFC fan pretty much agrees with that. The irony is, we've played our best in a game we drew against the Champions and then in a game we actually lost (but were robbed by the Ref to be fair to the lads). Even though we battered Norwich 5-2, we didn't play anywhere near our best. If you wanna see what we play like near our best, go and watch the City game or the 2nd half of the Wigan game. We were unrecognisable in those games as compared to today. It was a typical Liverpool performance of which this could of been one of about 10 games this season as they have all went the same way. We start the better team. Take control by the middle of the first half, create 2 or 3 guilt edged chances, miss them all as usual or even better get a goal disallowed, start getting frustrated, let our heads go down thinking "oh no its happening again!!!", fade away in the last 20 mins, and then draw mostly, but sometimes concede a **** late goal and lose. Todays Liverpool performance was literally exactly the same as our games against Stoke, Newcastle, Everton, Sunderland to name but a few, and you can bet your bottom dollar it will happen again against Spurs on wednesday night. It was exactly the same last season and its repeating itself now, only now we have a higher percentage of posession and more passes, but that don't get you points. Today is another game we should of won, and we know we should of won as the media are enjoying rubbing it in our faces, but we didn't and thats all that matters at the end of the day. And while this pattern keeps on repeating itself against teams we should be beating if we have top 6 ambitions again, we'll never get any higher than 8th, and nor will we deserve to quite frankly. Just gutted again. Counting the days down till January.
Good post. Nice to see one of you can just say it how you seen it an putting bias aside. Agree with nearly everything you've said there mate. Liverpool edged it, but if you'd of nicked a goal we would of been out of it as we wouldn't of had the mental strength to comeback into the game. If we don't score in the first half our heads go and we find it unbelievably hard to keep our spirits up and keep going. If by some miracle we get that first goal, like Wigan last week where before and after we scored was like two different teams, its a MASSIVE weight lifted from around the players shoulders, they get their heads up, relax, gain in confidence and its like a different game all of a sudden. Thought you defended well and contained Suarez pretty good and I don't remember him creating himself any clear cut chances, and your keeper was really good to considering he's your backup. Good luck against WBA, could do with you beating them and seeing them start to slip down the table, although if we lose against Spurs it doesn't really matter.
Oh, and, will never happen. Rodger's hasn;t got the bottle to. He's such a manipulator and politician he's seen what Gerrard and Carra have done to previous Managers and players and has gone out of his way to brown nose these two and keep them on his side as much as possible. It was easy with Carra as Kenny had done the hard part for him last year and relegated him to the bench, but he hasn't got the balls to bench Gerrard, and worse than that, he hasn't got the balls to move him out of the position where he is currently playing, very very poorly and lazily, into a position where he'd be more use and less of a liability to us, because Gerrard wants to play where he is currently playing, in the role he is currently playing, even tho he is horses arse there (if people ask he'll say he's on top of his form and is playing in his 'best' position!)
I wouldn't usually laugh at this but a reply that completely proves the point invalid with well sourced, reliable info is worth a chortle. There are a few in this thread, they know who they are, seem to be going out of their way to revise the game and make it sound like it was a game Swansea should of won and were in no danger of losing whereas the more balanced of the posters, Norway and dai in-particular seem to have seen the same game myself, all the people I watched it with, all the pundits on tv, and every writer of every match report and article on the game I've read so far seen. The general consensus, not just from the Liverpool fans but neutrals the pundits journos etc seems to be a closely fought contest, that Liverpool just nicked on points with a goal disallowed wrongly (I haven't seen the reply, but Shearer, Schmeichel, Quinn and Wilkins all said after seeing a different angle that Enrique was just on coz hands don't count ? but it would of been extremely hard for the Lineo to see this) and two (would of been 3 if not for Sterlings utter dog **** ball) missed clear cut chances, whereas I only remember the header off the line for Swansea being an absolute sitter that missed. All in all, most people seem to think a draw was probably just about right which I go along with as you make your own luck in this league and if your good enough, you score goals and you win games. Simples.
I can't remember if I've said this before but some of the Liverpool fans are amongst the most deluded I've ever come across, here and in person. Thank Fcuk we've got a game so quickly against WBA and can talk about something else now and can have a few months break from it
