So here's another cat on the fire..... It was noticeable today on the TV feed that Rogers' name was mentioned FAR more during the game than Allen's, who was actually on the field and playing (I guess). And most of the times when Allen's name was mentioned was when he committed fouls around their box. A TV thing, or was he really that uninvolved? Sometimes things appear differently in the ground than on TV. This is a serious question from two points of view: a) haven't followed Allen at all at 'Pool so curious as to whether this usual or not; b) what are the general feelings of a 15M quid player sitting in front of the back four and being so apparently uninvolved.

It takes years to realise your potential but it doesn't take long to fall from the top table .

Not surprised at that YJ, they, the media, seem to be mesmerised by him, yet look at the Liverpool Board and some are asking, exactly what has he done in football? That particular bubble will burst soon enough. As for Joe,I feel for the kid . To my way of thinking he's a small town lad , who has been tempted away, so good luck to him, but the pressure is building, I watched him when Gerrard was ' chewing him out ' as you colonials say ( only joking Bro ) and he didn't look enthused or happy. In my opinion the longer results don't go their way the worse things will get for the kid. Hope it doesn't damage him.

Yankee- I have watched alot of allen lately and i can safely say that was his worst performance this season, in fact his performances seem to be droppong by the week IMO, he was pretty much a non entity today but that goes for gerrerd too !!

Therer are a few who are getting frustrated with Allen up there, a shame because the boy is doing his best but is getting slaughtered by stevie G being in the team. They Lucas back to lighteb the load for him but at the moment(and i was one who didnt want Joe sold at any price!) its looking like we robbed Liverpool for Joe and Brenden..<laugh>

young joe was nervous as hell at the beginning of the match and made more passes to us than he did to his team mates...I felt embarrassed with the idiots who were booing him when he had the ball as that's uncalled for with the service he gave us and not to mention £15 million that we put to good use, He however redeemed himself with a good clearance off the line.....A hard earned point in the end as Liverpool was starting to take control and was glad for the final whistle to blow......

Offside not by much, but never the less he was off. Brendan needs to go to specsavers, if he thought he was on side.

The difference between the teams is that today we saw Liverpool firing on all cylinders, because that's all they've got and the Swans stuck in 2nd gear because we know we've got a whole lot more than that in our locker.

It's the Liverpool fans that were glad for the whistle as not many teams will get too much at the Liberty. I'm disappointed because along with Sunderland and Reading that's 3 teams we are better than who have not been put to the sword.

I'm glad you've said it Ivor, I don't want to be the one who's always seen to be picking him up on this subject, but it's really doing my nut in too, hope he stops soon as I'm likely to explode on all this Rodgers love in, and Liverpool this, and Liverpool that!....................<doh>

But you'll know what happen DPJ he'll read what you say and then won't engage he'll just go on to another thread and continue spouting. He's the one that starts the crap calling other posters idiots etc. yet when posters fight back then they get villified. Not right guys, at all.

Strange game. A decent performance from the Swans who were the better team. Wasn't impressed at all with the opposition besides their defense who didn't give the boys much space to work in. Happy with 1 point after all but we could have won with a slightly better performance. My heart says 1 point gained but my brain says 2 points lost.
