Came back from the game today giggling at all the negativity from certain sections of our 'support' - get back to this board and see more negativity from the usual suspects; so I am going to ask for a little perspective from the serial paniccers and nay sayers that already have us relegated after 3 games in the Premier League - for christ sake guys - chill the F**K out!

We are improving game after game - we put in a great 90 minute performance today and could, maybe should, have got 3 points - but we could also have got none. I was thoroughly entertained for the whole 90 minutes and left the stadium with a smile on my face - we matched, and for large portions of the game, dominated an established Premier team with two Champion League winners and a couple of World Cup semi finalists amongst their ranks.

We have a world class goalkeeper that we somehow managed to pick up for £1.8 million.

We have a striker that, no matter how much the negative Nancy's slag him off, worked his heart out and got into some great positions - the goals will come from him!

We have got where we are against all the odds and without compromising our style or selling our souls.

We have a manager who turned down several mega bucks offers from bigger clubs in the close season - and even turned down a pay rise from Huw, and I quote 'it's not about the money - let's see where we are this time next year and talk about it then'. A manager who has performed miracles with funds that wouldn't keep Man City's backroom staff in employment!

We have a chairman and board who, in a few short years, have turned us from a team that was bought for a pound into one that is playing in one of the worlds richest leagues!

And unlike most in this league, we operate debt free and however this season ends, we are going to be in a very healthy financial position!

We don't have any superstars, but a true team that play for Swansea because they want to - not because it is good for their bank accounts. In a climate of obscene transfer fees and wage bills, this is something we should celebrate!

We now have exposure world wide that we could only have dreamt about a few years ago - Nathan Dyers contract extention made Nepals 'Himalayan Times' for Gods sake!

We have at least one year (I pray it will be longer) playing on the world stage and we should enjoy every second of it so stop moaning and get behind OUR team - one we should be immensely proud of and support loudly whatever happens in the coming months!

We are truly blessed so get some perspective folks and enjoy the ride!!

As you can see, I'm in good spirits cartoon, even if it felt like we dropped two points, and that's credit to the way the boys played today, I'm sure Danny boy will click soon, he's too good not to, sometimes you just need to relax in front of goal, which I'm sure he will once he's got his first! thought Taylor had a stormer of a game today, and Sinclair and Dyer were brilliant as usual! It's a long old season and the early signs are fine...............

Agree Dragon - love it when Taylor gets beyond Sinclair because he offers something Sinclair doesn't - excellent crosses into the box - Graham is good with his head and feel this is something we should be doing more of. Not criticising Scott or Nathan though, they are always threatening, but they prefer to cut into the box when sometimes I feel they would be better off crossing! But, like you, am very happy about the way things are going, and the Premier League is more fun than the Championship in every single way! Said at the beginning of the season that I was going to enjoy the ride whatever happens and aint gonna change my mind anytime soon! ;)

I have only seen the highlights, but I thought the Swans were unlucky yesterday, OK you got nothing at Man City........not many teams will, it was always going to be a big step up for all the newly promoted teams, but you have a good manager and intelligent players who will adapt, I hope you will be OK, and I think there are going to be 3 or 4 worse teams in the PL than the Swans, and whilst the lack of a cutting edge at PL level must be a worry, I think there is enough quality elsewhere in your side to keep you up, and I can't believe the negativity from some Swans "fans"..........realism is one thing, negativity another,,,,,,for what it's worth I think you will stay up, it is going to be a hard tough battle, but the more realistic Swans fans realised you weren't going to set the PL on fire..............bottom half finish, but not relegated is my genuine opinion, not a WUM I hope you survive this season, then kick on over the next couple of seasons

Well said Proph. While, as you say, lack of goals is a bit of an issue, as long as DG comes good we should be fine I think.
