Some very readable posts it is vey hard to identify with Bristol City both on and off the pitch. The directors feel alien, and faceless.
Blimy a constructive post over there,reading between the lines if our club was doing well,the things pointed out would not be so potent. But i have to say hearing. SL yesterday was very refreshing,since taking a backseat the rapport with the club and fans is far less. Also GJ was fantastic with his rapport with the fans,where DM is not the same character.
I wonder if Mr Lasdowns speech was related to this! I hope that this is a start of the club attempting to reconnect with support. Pride in the club has drained away.
I would love to add my views to that article but can't and im not ever signing up to that forum again! Anyway I would of put what most have. No one really knows who are chairmen is and if there wasn't a photo of him a few weeks back on our site I wouldn't even know what he looks like. Maynard may not be liked anymore but I loved it before kick off he would run over especially to the eastend to give us a clap. Don't get that from any players now. We're the stand that show vocal support all game and get hardly ay recognition from the players. Also the speaker in the EE is ****, When there announcing things you can't hear it. I wouldn't have know the Watford game was postponed if I didn't see other people from different stand getting up and leaving. 1 more thing, I have a huge problem with.............. David Loyd, He is absolutely terrible at his job, he doesn't ever sound excited and from every away game I go to there announcer really get the crowd going before kick off, Our sounds old, Miserable and just terrible. I suggest changing him quickly for someone who will get the fans going. Also say the players name from GK to ST not by numbers, That's something else that really does my head in If someone that's on the OTIB wants to paste this on to it for me that would be great
If this is the start of the club going into a form of appraisal it could be beneficial. Decisions, particularly poorly thought out ones can affect supporters mind set. Establish a feel, a buy in to ideas and it can lead to far positive support of the club, it does abroad. At present it feels the club could send the team out in blue quarters and think it is alright such is their detachment.
