"WHEN".......I started this season with terrific optimism, not about getting into Europe, but of continually being around mid table. Taking into account that if we had held on at Spurs we would have risen 10 places up the league to 12th, but having not we are 2nd bottom. I feel that we will be ok this season but that four letter word is moving inextricably from the back of my mind to the front, "WHEN" are we going to start. Whether it will be the rub of the green to win a game or play like we can for 90 minutes and go on a run of good results thereby moving up the table. Each match I think "WHEN" will we do it. For me, and I know it is early in the season, but I need a win against West Ham on Monday to push that word "WHEN" more to the back of my mind than it is now. The saddest thing for me is that we are not defending well, and it doesn't seem to matter who we have in the back four, we are being outscored by our opponents. I wouldn't mind so much if we were like Newcastle of old with Keagan in charge where there mentality was if you score 2 we will score 3 etc. It is more if we score 1 they will score 2 etc. I have supported QPR since 1954 so know the ups and downs of our ilk, but I had such high hopes for the beginning of the season that I feel quite down right now....Just thought I would let you know. Onwards and Upwards and here's to a happy posting on Monday night.
