Well my love of all things SAFC will never die no matter what and no matter what division.

Glory hunters like your good self could always try a different sport. <ok>

A Sunderland fan being accused of being a glory supporter? I've heard it all now.

Being Sunderland supporter means taking the good with the bad.
If you are going to bottle it when times are bad you are a **** supporter any way.

And you should know better than most, as the glory hunters only latched onto the Skunks whilst it was good under Keegan.

We had no glory with Keegan sadly, so your logic is flawed for me. Also, nmg is on this website, so that tells me that despite all the **** he isn't quitting any time soon.

Was meant as a different type of post eg football is irrelevant and just a silly game. Ironic that the post is on a football forum I suppose.

NMG's you've got it wrong. Football is an escape from life. 90 minutes where u can forget your own hard times.

The only thing I would say about football is that it is losing it's entertainers. Those who make you smile. Each team should have to include two fat skilful players.

Football is not my life it just adds a bit of colour - sadly being a Sunderland fan it's mainly grey, sometimes black but that's what makes the brighter colours more vivid!

    **** this wine is good!

Wasn't having a pop at the cancer issue mate I have lost too many through it. <ok>
    My point was purely football.
IMHO the younger fans are expecting too much too quickly.

I have waited 50 years for this top flight run.
I will still whine like a pussy when it all goes tits up, after all we are Sunderland. :p
Lets enjoy the ride and hope for more.

In the perspective your mate sees it from, I agree from the bottom of my heart.
Be there for him mate, he will need friends like you (that's a compliment).

    Echo your sentiment mate.

As for Deluded, do you agree with him about no glory under Keegan?

I would honestly give my left knacker to challenge Man U for the Prem title and just miss out.
