just read the dilemma of Swansea [BBC] and a pretty "clear & honest" interpretation of how FFP affects relegated teams … and not such a load of cow poooooh that some clubs try to cover up and worm their ways round.

Also mentions a similar pattern of that being adopted by City football in taking the way forward slowly as opposed to eggs in one basket and finding they are all addled!

Also the Americans interpretation of a transfer …. its a bet! …… you win or you lose...lol they lost loads!

one thing they didn't mention though is that they gone through what they have done this summer without a mention that they get £90m [ £40m / £35m / £15m for being relegated.
they got rid of 7? players for about £30-£40m and replacements will be on much lower wages .. gates have dropped a tad? so it cant be that bad a picture?

Parachute payments in arrears and a huge drop in income......suggested that it is about 60 million per annum by one of their posters. Gate income is say, 25,000 by 300 per annum for a season so it is of the order of 7.5 million.....a bit more if you can sell seat by seat each weekend. Gate income is a drop in the ocean. Transfer sales can only happen once and are not Profit and Loss items. Not a bed of roses and a huge gamble if you are like Stoke.... to keep the costs and try and get straight back.
