    The Scousers <laugh>

Liverpool aren't in the same league as Man Utd, Spurs, Chelsea & Everton. My point was half our games have been against the league's top teams which is why you're only two points behind (with a game in hand).

So, you assume you'd do better against lesser teams, like winless Reading, who you needed a handball to draw with?

Maybe the hapless Villa who you nicked a draw off?

Everton have about 7 players that would walk in to the Liverpool team, Liverpool are not a top 6 team any more.

Surely common sense would tell you the poorer the opposition the more likely you're to get a win?

Ah yes the Reading handball but no mention of the blatant penalty we should have had against them? We weren't great against Villa but I'd hardly say we "nicked a draw" to be fair. After we scored there was only one team looking likely to get the three points.

With players like Baines, Fellaini, Jelavic, Jagielka, Distin, Howard, Pienaar & Miralles I'd have to disagree.

Shall we stick to facts fella.

You drew with Everton, who you are bigging up as a reason you are only 2 points ahead (from a game extra, of course.)

Yet, it's not ok to pint to draws with the lesser sides as a counter argument?

Your counter argument is ****ed by the fact you have only beaten 1 'lesser' team, why would we assume any different moving forward?

I'd say you ****ed this one fella, move on <ok>

Haven't really ****ed it have I? Would you rather play Swansea every week or Man City? Of course the answer is Swansea as you're more likely to beat them than City, meaning it is in fact correct to suggest you'll pick up more points against lesser teams than you will against the top teams.

We've probably had the hardest set of fixtures in the league so far, the four teams I've mentioned and our local rivals away. We looked good today and IMO over the next 6 games we'll accumulate 10-12 points (only my opinion of course) and begin to pull away from the bottom half. It's too early to talk about the league table, we're the same number of points off fourth as we are the bottom three pretty much.

You will improve, but to say that 'we've played all these top teams' when you failed to beat Villa & Reading, devalues your point, surely you can see that?

Yeah your point is correct to an extent, but there are variables such as injuries, for Reading we had no Colo, Krul, Taylor went off injured and Tiote was out. Now of course all teams get injuries, but our best players are better than Reading's and Villa's, so when we have some missing it levels the playing field.

If Reading have McAnuff injured (potentially their best player) they bring in McCleary, does that weaken them as much as say us replacing HBA with Obertan? Or Colo with Perch? It levels the playing field up massively.

All teams have injuries so we can't moan too much about that, but we finally have our full team available other than Tiote (who based on recent form I'm not even sure if he currently deserves a starting place).
