I think we are looking at a loss this weekend. Normally I am confident of a performance each week, but I fear heads will drop as our season looks to be over
Im not bothered about making the Europa league tbh If we do I can only see a struggle next season with the extra load.. We should have a few bob to spend the summer but wont be enough to strengthen for the EL and the PL IMO That said I'd be surprised If we bomb at home to Cardiff tbh
I just have that Everton feeling. It just sits with me a few times each season....we are one game away from a good run or a slump
March is a relatively boring month for you, no big games so a test of the team's focus. If you go for maximum points and Arsenal lose to Spurs, Chelsea and Man City, then you can overtake them in your game at the start of April.
Don't be ridiculous. Everton should be looking at at least fifth (an outside chance of overhaullling us or Arsenal too now you have Lukaku back). And even if it is the Uefa, Everton have a big enough squad to get to the knockouts, and it'll attract new players and maybe persuade the likes of Lukaku and Barry to stay. Martinez needs to build season-on-season, raising the club and attracting ever better sponsorship. I still think you'll beat united to fifth, though I'm sure you'll have mixed feeling about wanting us to beat them tomorrow to enhance your chances.
I cant see a Liverpool defeat tomorrow Donga lol Just a Man Utd one We should have been home and dry In the first half we were playing David Marshall on his own I think
Nothing wrong about being wrong, like I said in a post before your "wrong again" comment. We are one game away from a good or bad run! A Seamus Shin Shank coupd well be the trigger.
Fifth is yours for the taking. You still can have hope that us and arsenal will fall to pieces, but Tottenham are bust (even thought they were the better team today). On they way back from the gym in the car before, I heard a Tottenham fan on 606 sort of having a go at Levy. He said can you imagine if Everton and Martinez had a £100m to spend on players? Maybe someone wanting to get involved in football is thinking just that.
Anyone wanting to invest in everton woul dbe crazy. That is why the club wont sell, the club has an average attendance, an old ground that needs to be rebuilt and a fanbase that is not global in the scales of Arsenal, United etc.
Or us.... I know you don't want to say it! But you're as big a club as Spurs, and a bigger 'natural' fanbase than City and Chelsea combined before their sugar-daddies appeared.
Bollocks. You can sell anything, anytime, if the price is right. The only thing stopping EFC being sold is Uncle Bill's asking price.
Whats the asking price and where are the interested parties? Not one person has come forward and even shown a flicker of interest in buying the club, even used the media to try and force the price down by stating it is too high.
