7 sub rule

    i don't think so..but he seems very optimistic that that will be the case. Personally i wouldn't be surprised if he goes out on loan, but he's hoping for 1st team. i'm sure we'll see at the pre season if SD has any ideas in respect of Mensah.

    So happy that they reverted back to 7 subs. For teams like ours where we are hoping to bring through youth it will allow us to bed in the next future of WFC. The problem with the 5 sub rule is that normally the 5 subs are seasoned players who are either coming back from injury or not quite up to it and mixed of keeper, Left sided player, Right sided player, Center half/mid and a striker.
    The 7 subs allow for two extra youth players (low wages so no real effect on revenue) and the oportunity to bring them on if winning/losing by a margin. I think that a few of our youngsters were really affected by this last season.
