Can we get out of this, who will Sam bring in ? Austin, first hopefully. I worry about Villa coming here now 18 matches without win and a great record against us, although I reckon they are down now.

It has the look of a six pointer and its time we started thumping our rivals.

We are Sunderland. We'll beat Liverpool and lose to Villa. It's what we do.

Pick the team that started against West Ham, Defoe in for Toinevon. Best we played all season.

Can't understand JD on the bench and DG on the pitch, no sense at all, and OT has looked poor all season.

I honestly think that he was sending out a message to Ellis Short with that performance and result. I also think he was holding Defoe back for the Liverpool and Villa games, which we have chances to take points from.

Anyways, if we don't beat Liverpool or Aston Villa, then it's curtains for us.

The one in Jamaica has better weather, and the rum is cheaper.

You can't say for certain who is and who isn't going down. I still think there will be a surprise in store somewhere. Nobody gave Leicester a chance last season. Look at them now. Personally, I don't think either NE side will go down this season. I do think both clubs will run it very, very close (January dependent) though.

You have to admit though that we are good at digging holes, while I share your optimism, it is being tested with every game, this has been a bad few weeks for both our teams, and it must change soon, mainly due to the unexpected results our rivals have been enjoying.

We need more PL proven players. Our foreign contingent are struggling to adapt and while I'm certain they will come good, we aren't at the level where we can sit around and hope for something to click.

Swap our back four for yours anytime. And we'll chuck in Wes for good measure, plenty of experience there. :emoticon-0150-hands

<laugh> Colo the clown and Dummet (who probably hasn't had the best cover but is still woeful) will have you pulling your hair out. Only Mbemba has come out of this with any credit.....

Keeping key players fit will be paramount for both of us, that plus a decent transfer window to plug the gaps, ours are very obvious, yours not so clear, still think we have the better manager, and you lot have a better squad. :emoticon-0148-yes::emoticon-0148-yes:

Coloccini and dummet are awful. Worse than anything we have and I wouldn't want them anywhere near our team! Mbemba looks ok. He's the only one of their back 4 that would improve our back 4.

That's not me beating my chest saying we're any better! Just that we are both ****e
