Good thread fella, a bit tidy innit, perhaps I'll change my nick to "Tidy Postings" or shall that be reserved for an exceptional poster? Can you change your nick on this forum?

After Sparkey's comments earlier, I'm not too sure now about the "bush" bit.
Anyhoo - My name's Dave (Dai) and my local is The Bush Inn.

My was a hybrid of a City Legend and a popular 80's weekend sound bite and of course a fancy over priced chain of national dinar/bar's

Well, I started off as HomeHomeOnTheGrange but it took too long to type, so shortened it to hhotg, but I have decided a new season deserves anew name :)

    I'll come clean.
My nick is basicly from Snagglepuss who was a cartoon pink lion, who used to "Exit stage left!" as in "I'll get my coat"
But I adopted a tiny black kitten that was brought to my door by a stray tom in the bitter winter of '95/96 just after new year. I came back from a regular lock-in at the Royal Exchange in Llandaff North about 3 AM and they were both sittiing on my doorstep. I took the kitten in and called it snagglepuss. It stayed with me for 9 years moving all over the country until I had to move into an hotel for 2.5 years on a project in Central london, when I gave her to an old lady to care for as her cat had just died. The cat was as mad as box of frogs and used to attack dogs but was as good as gold with me.
The X bit was because I now use the name as my nick on any site I join and one day a site lost my registration and asked me to rejoin. It wouldn't let me use snaggle because there was already someone on their system with the name (Yes it was me Doh!) so I put an X infront as in the person formally knows as snaggle, like prince did.
Bet you wish you never asked now don't you?
now - - - I'll get my coat Exits stage right!

Wow, my Japanese translation comes out as: Buruefuronburidejindo.

    Much more interesting.

How about for a week we all change to our Japanese names? That would really confuse our visiting "friends" and create a bit of alternative interest on the boards.
