A new City stand would be great, but would it still remain the Georffry Watling City Stand?

Cheers, swansman. Heres to a cracker on Sat.

Thought the Swansea lot seemed a decent bunch when they came to Carrow road compared to others to be fair

It should still carry Watling's name, shouldn't it? But the South stand lost its title, so who knows.
That said, I can't be the only one who still says 'South stand' and River end'.
Actually, we can't be far away now from the 'Smith' stand, can we?

Thanks SWANSMAN, like most I've been so impressed by Swansea. Had to eat a bit of humble pie, really didn't think you'd be able to play that way and pick up enough points. I think between us this season we've written a new blueprint for how promoted sides can approach the top flight.
Hope, after our game, you have a great end to the season.

If the city stand was built with the option of a second tier, then great. when it was built, the road system by the ground was different as well from memory, another factor to consider for expansion.

It would seem a bit of a waste to knock it down and start again as it's, what only 25 years o6ld?

Some stands are fairly steep, so you could have a steep stand to account for lack of space back to the road.

it would be great to see bigger stadium - the way things are going and the grounding we are making on the pitch for the future, i think we will see it at some point in the next 10 years regardless if we stay for 3 years in the prem as per the current plan for expansion.

I'm curious as to why you think you'll win on Saturday? You may well do, but our home record suggests the opposite and has been recognised by most Canaries fans. Just curious as to the optimism. Blind faith or based on something else? Swans-m has already pointed out some facts for you, and I for one will be gutted if we don't win this one.

As swans-m says, our opponents in January were a tad more difficult than yours and Rodgers deserved the award over Lambert, no doubt.

Looks like neither team need worry about relegation, though anything's possible.

well i personally doubt we will win on saturday, although i think a point is more than possible, but why is it such an outrageous view for a city fan to suggest we might win? even last season the scoreline flattered you massively thanks to two wonder strikes though i think we'd all agree you probably deserved the win regardless. swansea may have only lost one home game this season but its only been worth two more points than our own home record. you've had some great results, especially at home, but you are hardly a team we fear. as i say, very difficult for us but we stand a chance of getting a result, thats for sure <ok>

The same could be said of Swansea fans. A win isn't assured. Not saying you shouldn't be confident because of your very good home record though.

Does anyone know if the two red cards that Leicester got on saturday mean those players won't face Norwich when we play?

I've seen and heard the same thing, Main/City stand to be knocked down and re-build to give 35,000 capacity of the whole ground. 3 year plan I believe including this current year. I also understood that the Jarrold had a built in structural facility to add to the top, thats going to be a long way up?????

Meant to add, why can't we have both, Europa cup and Fa cup and premier ship next year, OK thats 3 then, getting greedy.

Why shouldn't we think we can win? Bit of a strange question to me that one. We are above you in the table and have won a game more, there are two reasons <ok>

We were also unbeaten in January, whereas you lost a game so I personally think it's harsh on Lambo not winning MOM, particuarly as we won both our away games in the month and kept a clean sheet against Chelsea in the other, but I'm really not that bothered and can see why Rodgers won it.

Just checked the skysports website on this, which said Beckford's straight red has been rescinded. So that means he definitely will be available

As for Neil Danns's red card- he was already on a yellow, so I think it was a second yellow, but it's not clear- it sounds like he was last man which would make it a straight red

Nothing wrong with believing you can win - that's to be applauded and why not? Of course you can. But losing one game at home all season to the champions and through a gifted goal...well you can see why we're pretty optimistic.

My only concern is your aerial threat. A lot of your goals come from long balls and crosses into the box. Our left back Taylor is a tiny fella and Rangel isn't great in the air. Might be the difference, but who knows?

    Safe travels.

i can't think of one goal we have scored this season from a long ball. have you even watched us this season? yes we get balls in the box but we don't just boot the ball forward! its from wide play and intricate football around the box <ok>

every norwich fan knows its a tough venue to go and win at but you have dropped points at home to the likes of wigan, sunderland, villa and qpr so its hardly an impossible task!
