Belfast.. have a sit down mate. Put your feet up, breath deeply and contemplate.
The rollercoaster has come to the end of its ride (it wasn't all it was cracked up to be was it). Time to find the next ride that will either thrill or disappoint.
One thing for sure there will be plenty of rides offering thrills, spills, heady heights, fast heartbeats, sickness, headaches and eventually screams, smiles and pure smugness.
Until then pour yourself a drink and relax... another ride is waiting for you, and us all, my fellow Ranger!

Yes, this particular ride has well and truly hit the buffers, and it will be Burnley, Ipswich & Co. next season.
The irony of it all for me is that I really don't mind. The last two seasons have been far from enjoyable, so lets clear out all of those players we don't want [contracts permitting] get in some players that actually want to play for us, and go again.
This is what makes being an R's fan great, you never know what will unfold in the next chapter!

Is it just the players though, uncommitted as they are?

Something rotten has happened to our club and the performances on the pitch are a reflection of that, not the other way around. TF is a likeable man and says many positive things but he doesn't put enough of his considerable expertise into running QPR, his mind is elsewhere ( perhaps understandably, we are only a tiny fraction of his enterprises), but quite honestly I would prefer someone with less cash and more focus. I got to thinking last night that the sad situation we find ourselves in is analogous to an old well-liked but slightly shabby corner shop sitting on the site of a proposed shopping centre and finding itself being pushed aside while at the same time being told how wonderful and unique our shopping experience is.

I believe Tony is a genuine guy and is good for our club and is clearly making a lot of effort. Why would you call him a dick? even if he's made mistakes everything has been done in good faith, certainly doesn't warrant abuse like that.

Agree. Having a go at TF is pointless and damaging. Perhaps we should get the Venkiess (Blackburn) interested in our club?

Excellent post that. Certainly food for thought.

Blackburn players star in new Venky's advert

"Many footballers are frustrated actors really: Eric Cantona, Frank Leboeuf and Vinnie Jones have all gone on to have acting careers after they hung up their boots.
Could they soon be joined in Hollywood by the Blackburn Rovers squad?
Well, judging by this new advert for club owners Venky's, which stars the likes of David Dunn, Ryan Nelson and Morten Gamst Pedersen, then probably not."
